Sorry for the lack of posts on here, what with moving house, the fair and Christmas we just don't seem to have had a quiet minuet since August!

So a very over due post about the Selvedge Christmas Fair which I was preparing for in the last few posts. It all went pretty well, I managed to sell quite a few items (although next time I will take more of the flat packs and small cards than the 3D Circuses!) Unfortunately I was at deaths door when the fair rolled round, and taking so many pills to try to keep my temperature down and me conscious that its all a slight blur.

It was a pretty busy day, not quite as many people as the Summer Fair but as we had had a large amount of snow less than 24 hours before hand, I'm pretty surprised anyone turned up!

Here I am trying not to look too ill!

It was terribly exciting and quite exhausting but I would definitely do it again if asked, everyone was very lovely and friendly, all in all a very good experience!
And before I forget a huge thanks to Mum, who came with, talked to people and kept me going with tea and cake, I couldn't have done it without her!!

I'm so excited! I have been asked by the very lovely people at Selvedge to be one of the exhibitors at their winter fair! I really am looking forward to it, now all I have to do is make some stock, design a display stand, make business cards, sort out packaging......and very soon we will be moving house.

I wonder if this is what a heart attack feels like?!

Christmas Stock 09/08/2010

I've been working on the christmas stock for my shops over the last few months, having to stop every now and then for other illustration jobs...oh and having to keep the house unnatural tidy while trying to sell it!!

Anyway I've got them all finished and photographed so they'll be going up for sale at then end of September, which hopefully gives people long enough to make orders!
